Readathon

Read-a-thon Donations

Reach out to your loved one’s parents for their PLEDGESTAR link to supports their Read-a-thon efforts this year. Kid’s are competing to win prizes for their classrooms!

What is the Read-A-Thon?

Every year our students take 2 weeks to focus on reading books and attending schoolwide events with children’s book authors, teachers, and staff.

Your pledges motivate the children to read, and win prizes for the class with the highest pledge count.

Buying Books Here Will Support the Annual Fund

We’ve affiliated with bookshop.org to promote great books for children. Any book you purchase on the bookshop.org site after following any of the book links on this page will not only support local bookshops across the country and here in Pasadena, but a percentage of your purchase will come back to the annual fund!

Our Library Coordinator

Michelle Mazon

Part of our Annual Fund goes to support our library with materials, and a on-campus librarian. We’re one of only a few schools in the PUSD that has an on-site librarian.

Mrs. Mazon

“Reading should not be presented to children as a chore or duty. It should be offered to them as a precious gift.” — Kate DiCamillo
